Sausalito Gabrielson Park

Gabrielson Park was once known to residents as "The Hole". The Hole was a murky estuary, clouded with mud and dirt. It took three years to fill The Hole with a thousand square yards of sand and planting soil. The project was lead by the Sausalito Rotary Club, a network of members and volunteers who work to keep Sausalito beautiful. Today Gabrielson Park is home to the annual, summer-long Jazz and Blues By The Bay festival.

San Francisco Golden Gate Transit bus #10 picks up once an hour at these San Francisco locations: Main and Folsom, Mission and 1st, 7th and Market, McAllister and Polk, and Golden Gate Bridge Toll Plaza. It arrives in Sausalito at Bridgeway and Bay. Walk North o Anchor Street to Gabrielson Park.
There's also a ferry to Sausalito that departs from The Ferry Building on Embarcadero. The Sausalito Ferry Landing is right next to the park, near the Sausalito Yacht Club.

Metered parking is available in a parking lot next to Gabrielson Park. Be prepared to leave early since parking can be difficult in this area.
